Black Tea
Black tea is also known as fully fermented tea. It has been fermented for up to five hours after the mature tea leaf has been picked and withered. It goes through a firing process to give it the distinct black tea flavour, being pungent and mostly full bodied.

Black tea should be infused for at least three minutes, and the leaves must be removed from the water to ensure the infusion is smooth, not bitter.

Australian Black Tea
Although Australia is still in its infancy with tea production as well as only having a very small market share, it is slowly coming to the fore. Australians are recognising its smooth flavours and natural health benefits, while international tourists enjoy it as they can take a part of Australia home with them and share it with family and friends.

Oolong Tea

Oolong means black dragon which is a particular production method. A very elegant, very harmonious flowery aroma is the reason this is the champagne among the teas.

Oolong tea has half as much caffeine as a cup of black tea, & half again as much as a cup of green tea.

Chai Tea Blends
Chai is traditionally from India. It is infused with an abundance of spices and generally always served with hot milk. At T bar, it is served as a latte (we use Prosperi-T or a chai syrup), or you can purchase any of the chai's listed below as a tea without milk or with milk on the side. These hot beverages are becoming very, very popular.

Green Tea

Green tea is also known as unfermented tea. After the mature tealeaf has been picked and withered, it skips the fermentation process, and is steamed or pan-fried to stop the natural decomposing process.
Green tea should be infused for at least two minutes, and the leaves must be removed from the water to ensure the infusion is smooth, not bitter.

Green Tea Flavoured

White Tea

White tea is a type of tea, probably the purest form of tea similar to a green tea and not a black tea with milk added. It is a tea that is known very well amongst avid tea drinkers and is widely becoming even more popular because of its health benefits – it has even more anti-oxidants than green tea.  Most white teas are infused with jasmine and must never be drunk with milk.
