Black Tea
Black tea is also known as fully fermented tea. It has been fermented for up to five hours after the mature tea leaf has been picked and withered. It goes through a firing process to give it the distinct black tea flavour, being pungent and mostly full bodied.
Black tea should be infused for at least three minutes, and the leaves must be removed from the water to ensure the infusion is smooth, not bitter.
